The Department of Spanish and Portuguese is pleased to announce the following news about our graduate students:

Alicia Núñez has been awarded a Presidential Fellowship, one of the most prestigious fellowships to be awarded to graduate students by Northwestern University.

Christian Vásquez has been admitted into NU’s Chicago Humanities Initiative! This competitive summer program enables graduate students to explore public-facing careers in the humanities.
